Transformational practices in career counselling and guidance – ConsEDU, Romania
During the ConsEdu Conference Kick-off meeting, our team delivered two interactive workshops presenting Careers 4.0 project (platform, questionnaire tool- Holland Test with chatbot, immersive tour, career information etc.) to national experts in education and career counselling, managers, school/career counsellors, directors of CJRAE/CMBRAE. The sessions highlighted the project’s innovative approach to career guidance in the context of rapid digital and labour market transformations. Participants were introduced to innovative tools, methodologies, and learning activities designed to support beneficiaries in developing future-ready skills. The strong engagement and positive feedback confirmed the relevance of the project for modern career education and guidance and its potential to support students in navigating Career 4.0 pathways.

Joint Workshop-Career Guidance 4.0: Digital & AI Solutions for Next-Generation Career Support
On 28 November 2025, the Career Guidance and Counselling Conference was successfully held in Athens (Raddison Park Hotel), organised by the European University Cyprus (EUC) in collaboration with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The Careers 4.0 project was presented in detail and generated strong interest among participants in two workshops, one held by Progressus, the Greek partner and another held by EUC. Presentation of Curriculum/Syllabus || Personal development and Career Guidance/Counselling for high school/Upper secondary education

In Romania, during August 2025 and November 2025 was created the Personal Development and Career Guidance/Counselling Curriculum/ Syllabus for high school students (grades IX–XII). It was established through Ministerial Order no. 4350/2025 and aims to prepare adolescents (14/15-18/19 years old) for life beyond school. It supports students in developing self-awareness, manage their emotions, and make informed decisions about their educational and career paths. Through a competency-based and future-oriented approach, the curriculum strengthens essential life and career skills such as adaptability, social-emotional skills, communication, goal setting, while creating a clear connection to the professions of the future, shaped by digital transformation, innovation, and an ever-changing labor market. The design of this curriculum was highly impacted by the results of CAREERS 4.0 project, which emphasized the need to align education with digital transformation, emerging career pathways, and the future skills required in a rapidly evolving labor market.
Careers4.0: Embracing Change and Lifelong Career Development

On 22 November 2025, the Careers 4.0 project hosted a full-day online training workshop titled “Embracing Change and Lifelong Career Development”, delivered by Nikolaos Drosos, PhD, Associate Professor of Career Guidance and Counselling at the European University Cyprus.
The workshop introduced the Careers 4.0 digital solution, designed to support career guidance professionals and users in navigating change, strengthening adaptability and resilience, and promoting lifelong career development in an increasingly complex educational and labour-market environment. Participants explored innovative tools and methodologies, including an AI-based chatbot for skills assessment and personalised career advice, immersive self-awareness experiences, and interactive exploration of job sectors and learning pathways.
